My introduction

No, I dont have a Buell....yet! Untill last September 29th 2008 I was an owner of two bikes, a Kawasaki ZRX1200R and a Triumph Thruxton 900. I hit a deer up in northern California and totaled my Triumph and I still have the Kawie but it's no Triumph. I have 4 bikes I was considering: Buell 1125CR, Buell XB12R, Triumph Speed Triple and a Moto Guzzi Griso and I decided the XB12R was the way to go. The ZRX1200R is going up on the block and I will ride home the XB soon. What am I getting myself into?

As far as what are you getting yourself into with a Buell? - I'd say......torquey, twisties FUN, and a bike that's almost intuitive in it's cornering ability with LOTS of character. [up]

Welcome Vanson! You have good taste [up] The Thruxton is one of my all time fav bikes. I've never owned one, but I'd like to!

The XB12R is a great choice. You'll love it!

I have not ridden the FIrebolt yet but I rode a M2 Cyclone back when they were still on sale. Putting up my ZRX for sale soon so I get my XB12R!
