Me and a couple friends last year at Cayuga Speedway.. just a track day messin' around. My XB9S held its own and then some in the corners but the straights proved to be very difficult. I will say that this bike is a blast at the track and is very easy to ride hard...

The Camera is mounted to my buddies Z1000 and the other bike is a GSXR750. Both very fast bikes.

oh and ignore the comment he posted having to keep slow acceleration out of turns ...he posted this video on a Kawi forum so he needed a reason as to why my Buell kept up with him... hahaha I coulda walked all over him if it wasn't for those damn straights!!!

Enjoy

This track day at Cayuga was such a great time... Spring is almost here and I cannot wait to get out again.

I will be sure to post up the next track day and maybe we can get more than one Buell on the track! I know Boreas is in! Racepro what do you say?? any other Southern Ontario riders in?

All ya need is full leathers, boots, gloves, DOT Approved helmet, tape up all light lenses, zip tie your kick stand and your ready to goo!

Looks like a blast to do [up] I haven't tried a track day yet - I should give it a try.

I wouldn't mind going to a "riding/racing school" to learn some technics. I'm sure I picked up some habits that might not be good :D

I'm not sure where you are located but I went to Shannonvilles FAST School (Shannonville, Ontario)... the cost was just under $400cdn using your own bike. they teach you track safety, choosing the correct line, body position, and the list goes on.... All jam packed into one day. Well recommended.

I'm not sure where you are located

Washington State.

$400cdn using your own bike

That's like $50US :p I've done the MSF course a number of years ago - wasn't too bad, but the FAST School sounds better. I'll check around and see what I can find. Thanks for the info...

hahaha What!!? The CDN Dollar is almost at PAR with the US Dollar!!! Plus we have pond hockey on our 5 dollar bill, which makes our money much cooler :p
