Would like to comission someone to build a headlight bracket for the linked lights to mount on an '09 Ss. Nothing too crazy, but something that is clean and functional and black. I'll ship the headlights and required connectors to you, I would like a plug and play setup returned...so please provide an estimate accordingly.

Bi-halogen Hella lights

Anyone interested?

made mine from diamond plate aluminum from Ace hardware, springs and hardware also

Very cool! Are those the hella lights?

No one is up for making a headlight bracket?

order it at sculpteo, shapeways or some other 3d-print service.

the lights are knock offs of the originals, work great...I almost got the same lights you're looking at but couldn't pass on the ones I got...

are you wanting a bracket similar to what I did? have plenty of material to make a few more if need be...do you have an idea of how you're going to mount it to the Lightning, assuming it's going on an S and not an R? make me a rendering of what you're thinking of and I'll see what I can do [email protected]

No good at rendering, that's why I need someone who has a lightning to use a mockup to design and build one.

the bracket will look similar to the one I made, will use the dimensions from the diagram of the lights and see what can be done, get back to you shortly

ok, using the dimensions given from the diagram for the headlight frame P/N: HL58001, drew the one first, then over lapped 'em to make dual frame, could put them closer together, although I placed the drawing over the stock lights and they are just about the same, this is drawn to scale...

this would be mounted on the front part of the light and lenses, hiding the frame of the lights behind it...look for the accessories for the light, click on the frame for the light and you'll see mounting alternatives, the light on the left is how the dual bracket would be affixed to the lights

Nice, that looks like it would work. Is there any way to have an additional facade mounted over the setup? Something that hides a little more of the housing of the light and the hardware...maybe with recessed hardware of it's own?

was thinking about that also, that will be the hardest part of the entire project...I'll see what I can do there

the bracket itself is not the problem, giving it a finished housing is, shy of using the original headlight housing to enclose it, yet there would still be part of the light exposed...those lights are better suited for an R model where the entire body of the light is hidden

best I can do is the bracket to mount the lights to in the manner stated before if that would help any, let me know what you decide

did some measuring of the lights you want to us vs. the stock, it's about 3" longer, although tapered like the firebolt lights, the overall size of the lights, diameter and length will not work on the Lightning set up. the space between the forks come into play here, there isn't enough room to fit those lights side by side. they would have to be placed forward of the windscreen, the lights would have to be installed like the firebolt set up on the support bracket. the drawing of the bracket is exactly the same width of the stock set up, the modules also impede the bracket from being mounted.
this is all being looked at without actually having the lights in hand to verify, only from the dimensions given from the website of the lights and mounting frame. the frame could be cut down, but then you'll lose strength/support of the bracket
