Ok so I brought the x1 home. Yaaaay! Fuel pump looks like it was in a river, but I've got a new one secured. Buddy came by and we took side cover off to see why clutch cable was out. After a few minutes we noticed the tabbed piece that goes into the cover and figured out how cable attatches. Well we put it all together and it seems like something else is missing. I'm assuming there should be a return spring of somekind but I dont know 100%. We now have a functional clutch but it don't wind back if that make sense. You pull the lever and you feel tension but the thing still seems not right. Who has a diagram of the whole deal so I can fix it ? Thanks

Ok I figured out I'm missing a detent spring. Only one I can find is a Harley sportster piece on eBay. Looks the same

Ok. It's not a detent spring but it is a spring that sits between clutch cover and release arm/bearing plate. My problem now is that the adjuster bolt in the center never bottoms out. It just turns all day. Is it broken?

Put the spring into the clutch ball ramp. Put your screw driver into the adjuster. Turn it until it feels firm. Back it out a quarter turn.

From there adjust your clutch cable so that the clutch has 1/16"-1/8" slack when pulled.

From there - you're good. Enjoy the ride.
