Need help

Just bought a 2006 Buell XB12R. The bike came from another state, and I'm trying to transfer the title and register it here in California. CA DMV requires verification of the 'Engine Number' and location of the 'Emissions Tag/Sticker."

I've combed the bike with a fine comb and can't seem to find these two things...

Any ideas?

engine number is the VIN that is stamped on it, it should match the VIN on the frame. No idea about the emissions sticker, it may have gotten taken off. It should have been on the frame, near the front I believe.

Yeah it should have been on the neck of the frame but the last owner probably cleaned that right off!
