i'm not sure what ones to get, high, low or mini Tapered bars. I have a Buell xb12s.
Do i need different clamps also.

Hey rainman, I've only seen CF bars one other time on here, so it may take a while for someone to respond to that one. As far as the position goes, thats all up to you. If it was me, I would go as low as possible because I like the sport bike feeling. But that stuff depends on how much you like using ab muscles

Nice choice, however, you will need adaptor clamps because most of those are 1 1/8 " and stock bars are 7/8" (23mm). I looked at those bars as well, but ended up going with the Rizoma low rise in gold. No adaptor needed, fit, feel and look great.
Cheers.:D

thats not a bad price and they would match the other carbon my bike. I think i'm almost sold on these. God when will it end!

cool thanks for all the help

few more questions
what rake is our stock handle bars, i want them the same or a little bit down from stock bars.
witch on of the three on there web site should i get.

also where do get adaptor clamps that will fit these bars and my bike.

thanks

has any one tried drilling there stock bar clamps our to fit 1 1/8 bars to fit is this posable will it work if I try that.

Hey rainman I'll have to check into it by looking at my clamps on my 12s tonight, but I'm fairly certain I could machine your clamp for your new bars. It'd require that I buy a 1 1/8" ball-end milling bit ($65.00) and about 2-3 hours of shop time (30/hr) so figure less than $200 if you're interested.

Here's the machine:

i vote low rise as well [up], looks and feels super. I was not sure i wanted to change my bars until i tried the low rise on a friends bike.

I'm looking at Driven's CR Low Bars with a width of 800mm, will I need new wiring for throttle and controls? I tried eyeballing this and all the cables seem pretty tighly cut, if anyone has an idea about the cost for going wider that would be helpful as well. Is the work involved something you can do yourself with instructions?
Thanks!

Thanks, I'll look into that.
Out of topic but K&N filter + new iridium plugs just arrived, fucking a! Can't wait to start building!
