Need noob answers.

so im a xb noob and have a couple questions. just got my 2003 xb9r. it already had a k&n filter and wanted to go with a jardine exhaust but ive heard that i will actually lose power. ive read that the ecu can be remapped, by who? or would it make sense just to get a race ecu? i bought the bike assuming i could go out and buy a power commander which seems not to be the case. help me out guys.

all else fails theres a hawk pipe.
Basically its a free flowing pipe & he does race ecm flash for $200 ish

Another option is to buy an Erik Buell Racing (EBR) ECM for $250 which will just be a plug and play, if you arent comfortable with doing the map, but given the forum, many knowledgable members would be more than happy to walk you through it, even if you had to chat over the phone while doing it.[up]

I can't remember what tab it is up top but u can change the language with a simple click of the mouse

There's a setting to change it to English. there's probably a step-by-step on here somewhere?
