Need opinions on buying my slavaged buell back!

Hey everyone. I can buy my buell back for 1800ish lets just say 1900$. Everyone has seen the pics but ill post one anyways. My thing is,
i will barely be able to buy it back first off.
The major damaged parts are the fairing stay, headers, and small dent.
It would come back as a salvaged title
Making selling it hard
I would not be able to afford to keep both but it does lend me the option to choice if i like the CR better or the XB better.

My question-
Is it worth the time and the money to buy it and fix it then sell it.
Buy it, total part out
buy it, new go cart!
or just steal my after market parts and sell those?

My friend is thinking about buying it, but she is my baby and so i get defensive when he wants MY BABY! Granted i would rather see her with another human then the scarp yard.

Would any of you buy my salvaged bike? I may also be able to get the title back to clean (friend knows a guy). The engine is great.

But im lost and dont know what to do! Please help me choose! [sad][sad]

If u get to keep all the aftermarket parts I would pass on the rest of the bike , depending on miles on the motor if u have to pay 1900 for the rest you will probably break even and a lot of your time and effort selling and shipping parts. If u got it for around a 1000 then I might go for it

You make alot of good points Squid and i think my best bet is to take the parts off of it and just sell thoses.

If your going to mod your new bike and dont mind some extra work buy a older xb maby one with bad crank? then put the 08 engine and required controls = late model upgrades on the cheep.
