maby I will wait to sell my buell..I just got back from a ride and wondered why Im going through all this when I have a great bike with no problems.

My thoughts exactly.

When I recive it I will ride it and decide wich one stays and wich one goes..wish I could keep them bolth but I can not.

Despite whatever second thoughts or buyers remorse you're having. If you're finding out now, after the auction is over, that this bike is not as listed or the paperwork is not as listed, I don't think you're obligated to buy the bike as the seller did not accurately describe the item.

Why bid if you don't want it?
Why wouldn't you research all the details of the bike before bidding?
Why wouldn't you research the buyer before bidding?
Why wouldn't you use something secure like paypal?

Anyway....if what you are recieving is not what was advertised, file a claim and get your money back. This sounds like it was a horrific transaction on both ends from the start.

There's nothing wrong with purchasing items (even cars and bikes) on ebay, but you should be able to tell when it's not a good idea...

I did want it..just a hard decision to buy a bike unseen and drop that kind of $$$ right now knowing I would have to give up my buell.
I checked all the details ..the seller lied and I was even told by the shipper that (the guy is a flake).
The seller did not want pay pal because of the fees..I dont blame him Im the same way.A bank check is safe.
Yes I talked to e bay fraud dep and Im covered ( I hope) so Im taking the chance .
I would not buy any car or bike You can not look at first again.
Im shure Im not alone whe I say I had enough bad experences with parts alone.
So now its being picked up today at noon.
The seller sent me picts of the title and is sending me a clean title next week..so I will try not to get to attached until then..or sell my buell.

I looked over the pics on ebay of the one I wanted, decided that was the one. Flew to Ohio, and meet the sealer at the airport with the bike. I'd brought cash, bought it, and rode it home.

That has been a dream of mine or bucket list I almoast did that a week before with a mv agusta in fl.
it would have been perfect since the wife and I want to move to f. or sc. and need to check it out..what better way than on a bike..1 way plane ride and take a week to get back.
but she backed out because of work and I did not bid..
It would have been bad with this one because of the sellers mental and did not even have a clean title.but I could have just flown back I guess.
the mv agusta would have been cheaper than the ducati too.
I had been trying to decide between the 2 being my fav for a long time, I like a ebr 1190rs better than bolth but can not aford that..maby in 5 years the pice will be down to what I just bought the duc for.
The bike was just picked up from the seller should be seing it friday...Im relly nervous now since the wife and I just wint to look at a (mint- perfect never abused or dumped) triumph daytona 675 for her ( cant talk her into taking my bike.) the daytona was a wreck, crashed, fliped, beat, hacked, oil everywhere,it smoked and I turned down her test ride because the front wheel bearing had 1/2" play. the poor person who tests it will dump it like the seller did....you dont know by a picture. you need to see it and hear it in person.

Ok.. update for anyonw who cares..i hope this will save someone here some problems someday.
I recived the bike on tuesday ^ days after it had been picked up. dvt shipping had done what they said and the delevery guy was great..everything was cheap $550. total . glad that part is over.
Now Im still waithing for the seller to send me the title wich he said he aplyed for 9 days ago(he should have done it before he listed it or atleast when I payed for it 3 weeks ago!)
nothing yet and he was suppose to send the rear seat and a new battery.
I asked him where everything was. he said he would send it with the title when he gets it..then had the nerve to ask if I would cancel the e bay transaction so he will not have to pay sellers fees! WTF!!!
now I have a awsome bike with no title, no rear seat, no battery, and he said he did not have any manuals or tools..(who spends $20k on a bike and doesnt save this stuff?
the shipper told me he was a flake and seen alot of stranf people but never this bad!
If my bike sells this week on e bay I will be helping the buyer as much as possable, giving them a clear title and all the other papperwork I have, spare parts and a helmet..also I will answer every question without lieing and tell them about this site and any info that may help them..and Im only getting 1/2 what I just spent.
Now i have the bike I cleaned it, took it for a spin around the block and im in love with it..if I have to send it back Im going with it to have a chat with this f$$k T@&d and get my cash back + shipping+bank fees+ my airfare back home.

You should talk to ebay about this guy and how he isnt delivering with his sell.

I talked with e bay, they work funney like a om off switch.
its either keep it and nothing or send it back loose the bike and hope for my money back.
not shure what I will do yet but the 30 day limit is up this week....this sucks big time.
