I just got a new race ECM from EBR and I I have a few issues. I now am getting a cel, it doesn't blink just solid. I have tried the tps reset 5 times so I'm sure I would have done it right at least once Lol. Also I'm getting much more popping on decel then I did with the stock ECM. Finally I do not like the new fan operating system. Its always screaming when ridding down the road and does not run when I shut the bike down. Not much to change that but I just don't like it
Oh and its a 08 12ss with open air and d and d pipe.

Any ideas on CEL and more popping

Also still looking for a fix on the shifter hanging up on the top when its up to running temp.

Not sure about your ecm, but I think I am having the same shifter problem you are. When ever engine hits temp, you shift up and the shift pedal stays up, you have to push it back down to shift up again. I would like to know also. Not trying to hijack your thread man.

Ebr ecms ship with cel codes associated with them programming and testing the ecm before shipping it. I suspect it has something to do with that. Have you tried reading the codes?

When I purchased my ebr ecm for my 1125 it shipping with about 20 cel codes and the light comes on everytime I crank it for about 30 seconds

It should clear the codes on it`s own, after you reset tps, then go ride it,and it should clear the codes. It may take 2 rides, but it will clear itself up.
Paperwork states there will be codes showing up (which is normal),and just to go ride and they will clear out by 2 rides.

Ok thanks guys I must have got excited and ditched the papers.. I have rode like 50 miles with new ECM so we will see next time.

Now for the shifter?
Hey fish have you messed with anything lately?

Thanks ztied. Wifarmboy, I havent looked into it at all yet. I just got a primary gasket a couple weeks ago so I could pull the cover. Think my bike was dropped by PO. Hopefully its not a bent shift shaft or anything.

Thanks ztied I'll have to pull it apart again and check that. Its a pretty good chance I didn't do that right.
