^^^^^^^^ 7/16 deep on a extension will get to it with out taking off the tensioner as the 9bolt said.
You can never have too many tools.....
I use a socket on a universal joint. Don't make this too hard for yourself, if you have a socket set all you need is a universal joint which isn't a one time use tool.
I'll add to that list of barely used specialty tools with:
... a dual SU carb air intake measurement tool for a 1975 Rover 3500S. Lightly used, mostly oxidized. I also have the custom made offset wrench to adjust the idle.

You are correct, I have like 3 of every thing I just cant find things so having 3 of each does help.
Ok, maybe I try to restore old one, its not heavily corroded. If this fails, I consider to buy new one. This whole discussion is going to go off the title but there is some powder coating businesses nearby, should I try that painting method?
