Just got back into the Buell life after a 2 year stint on a Harley Electra glide classic (what was i thinking??)
Anyway, i bought a 07 XB12R and im just starting to go over it, i found a vent hose under the seat thats making a mess out of everything under there. The bike has the crankcase breather mod done and it looks fine, the problem is a different vent. This one is about a 5/8 rubber hose with about a 3/8 hole in it, it says on the side (To oil pump). I have the factory service manual for this bike and it does'nt show a vent from the oil pump. The hose is tie wrapped to the top of the shock and points dwon to the fan- so when the fan is on its blowing oil all over the motor! Anybody know of a re-route for this vent or maybe any other advise for me- thanks alot
