The XB engines will bolt directly in, don't think I've ever seen an 1125 on an XB frame thougj. But the belt drive is different from 03 to the newer models. So you will also need an 04+ drive pulley, and sprocket/pulley for tje rear tire, and tensioner as well. This is a stronger belt to, you won't have to worry about snapping it as easy.

And as far as suspension, try google search, "buellxb.com,topic u want to search.com. I've seen the thread that your looking for, also. You could also check I.der general motorcycle chat/150+ helpful links. It might be in there. Good luck.

Petti where are you from? I'm after the crank halves of a donor engine, but I live in the UK. I don't need the rest of the engine.

the shop manual for a 2005 is linked to the top of this page. It will have the suspension specs in it.

Basically the same, it's all in chapter 1.

nah, I don't think an 1125 will fit in like you think, I would just stick with XB motors, you can rebuild what you have relatively cheap, and know exactly what kind of motor you have, IE Brand-R-New

You'd be surprised mate. There's no engines up for breaking in the UK, at least on eBay.

Biggest problem you would have is changing the crank. The xb12 has a longer stroke so the crank and piston are different. Everything else is the same except for the ECM, headers, throttle body size.

The cylinder(jugs) are the exact same, the heads and rockers are the same, the cams are the same. What are the exact things that need replaced? Is the crank part of it?
