BPlass, we'll definately be puttin down some rubber this year. SW WI has some great roads to explore.
I for sure could use a day trip up north. I know lots of roads around Shawano(original hometown) only problem is the deer up there weigh almost as much as my XB! So keep yer eyes open!
Let me know what you've got planned for your XB, maybe we can help each other out. I'm very handy with power tools, electrical and can TIG. Also have a friend who is an awesome machinist.
So far we have a couple of trips planned, second week of June we are renting a cabin in South Carolina right on the Tail of the Dragon and plan to do nothing but ride and relax for the whole week.. also plan on hitting a few weekend events, Moto GP, US Nationals, Oh, and RED BUD for sure.
The bikes probably wont get much new equipment this year, because of other money sucking projects [sad] but I did get a new set of Vortex paddok stands and they are sooooo sweet.
BPlass: I still have yet to try it on. I pulled my tail off so I can get some measurements to shorten it. Trying to come up with a new style. Hopefully get it done before Apr. Will post some pics ASAP.
I'm almost finished with my Streetrod mods and switching over to the Scg. I did a few mods when I first bought the bike at the end of October in between rides. I plan to finish a few more mods and then ride as much as possible.
