Whats up guys! Just picked up a '99 Buell X1, love the bike and cant stop riding it. Thought I'd come on here as I'd like to do a basic intake/tune/exhaust and some minor cosmetic mods. Look forward to BS'ing with you guys.

with an X1?, mod to your little hearts desire! there are a couple guys that have extremely custom X1's (some of the sweetest buells I've seen so far. lets see a picture of your new steed, and i'm sure the guys on the forum will give you a whole list of fun mods besides tuning it

Welcome! Glad to see some more Tubers on the forum! [up] Let's see some pics!

We carry the full line of Twin Motorcycles parts and can get the Torque Hammer exhaust for you if interested. If you see something on Twin's site that's not on ours just submit our quote request form. We can get anything they offer. Let us know if we can help you out!

Well I mean it was hard to wire up the Hid's on the trike, The seat is clearly a Corbin, tires are hard to find for it, you have to order them through toys'r'us, but I just had the bike painted and gained about 15hp from adding the tassels!

Holy response batman! It wont ruin me, I love seeing custom bikes. My old man used to sell Buell's and Harley-Davidsons locally in the mid-late 90's. Grew up around these bikes, wouldn't have anything else ;) Had a bobbed Blast as a first bike, way too many problems with it(previous owner neglected the poor thing) so sold it and got this Lightning. I'm the second owner, it's completely stock outside of the shifter linkage and routine maintenance/recall fixes. Less than 6800 miles when I got it....yesterday. A bike like this, basically untouched? Had to have it.

I've got an 99 X1 as well, over in Missouri. V&H exhaust, sounds sweet but needs some tuning and work still. First thing I'd do if it was my bike is different grips, mirrors coming off the sides of your grips, chrome levers.

Enjoy! :D

It has a D&D pipe and gold shorty levers now, no mirrors. currently trying to figure out what to do with the underseat panel, the tail is hideous.
