Welcome . The Drummer is a popular choice , I run one on 2009 and like the sound and ride .

^^^thanks, Is the drummer a slip on muffler or does it come in a full/complete kit with headers?

[confused]

Slip on. There is a great, niche market for "garage-made" Buell exhaust mufflers here in the USA. Be sure to check out GB, Keda, and Hawk, along with the Drummer (there might be one or two I missed). Find out what works for you (price, performance, looks) and have at it! ;)

There are very few true "full systems" left to buy. I believe Micron was one of the last makers and they are no longer making them.

Twin Motorcycles (in Europe) is custom making headers of very high quality, at about 600 Euros.

I opted for the GB exhaust--superb sound, great looks, and respectable power increase.

Yesterday i bought a kick A$$ lock, can be used with chain or just on the brake rotor, with a very sensetive motion triggered alarm.

I also have a Dobberman that never sleep, so all thievesw are welcome, ha ha ha....

What other option on airfilters is there???

I really do not want the KN filter, due to bad filtration and oil gunk build up in side the throttle body....

Anyone???

K&N's have been used successfully on American muscle cars and bikes for decades. I know that there is an opinion now among some that they are inferior to foam or paper filters. If you are in that camp, you may want to see if BMC or Uni offers a filter for Buells. Or stick to OEM.

I'm very happy with my K&N. I use K&N's on everything from sand quads (2 stroke banshees), to my Super Duty diesel truck. YMMV ;)

ok guys, lately i have been cruis`n alot

also got a new front tire on my bike, wow, what a great difference, got them all finished broken in and thanks Dunlop, it feels great!

Found out about the front and rear damper shock adjustments, got the bike set up for my weight, preload comp and rebound, this also improved the ride of the bike bigtime.....

Made an order for a new tail piece, almost cant wait to have it (2 weeks)

Looking for headers and have decided to order the Drummer SS exhaust.I may put on the 02-07 13/4" headers.

That sounds like a good plan! Be sure to post up pics and maybe a sound clip or two.

Btw, good move on the suspension: learning to set it up is crucial to enjoying the great handling our bikes offer.

DRUMMER is the SHIT.

Best looking and sounding exhaust in my opinion.

But thats cuz I like keeping things looking OEM.

Here is wht the drummer looks like:

Ok, update,

Todays work,
Changed engine oil and filter, transmission fluid drain and refill.
Now its at 7501km on the clock.

Ordered a 02-07 13/4" headers as an upgrade over my tiny 1.5" factory euro header, will help to reduce the heat on the cylinder i hope...
Also placed my order at KDFAB for a Drummer SS brushed Stainless steel with the core wrap.

Cant wait to get rid of the radicilous euro cat in the muffler shit, and get that thing breathing and make some beautyful noise!!!

Also got a whole lot of cruis`n done, this are some pics from todays "Rally"!

Got about 800km on the bike since i bought it and its just getting better and better, WOW!!! WHAT A BIKE!!!!!!![up][up][up][up][up][up][up][up][up][cool][cool][cool][cool][cool][cool][cool][cool]
