I had my Buell pro muffler break in the same spot had it tiged. Just be careful the guy that did mine heated it up alittle to much and shrunk the inlet it took alittle messing with but it fit fine and work well for a year and a half until I got my D&D.

the old x1's and such are tons of fun to ride. I need to get me one! First I gotta clear out the garage some!

my best friend has a yellow X1, and i ride a 03 9R, we've switched bikes multiple times, his X1 pulls harder than my bolt, but overall his bike hasent been the most reliable (it leaked sooo much oil! he was adding at least a qt per week) he's rebuilding the whole thing this winter basically

Nice bike, JerryC! I've seen Pur Pony's photos, too. *drool*

Hey maybe you guys can answer a Q for me:
The stock x1's come with bilateral scoops right beneath the tank on each side, correct?
Most people seem to take them off, though I've seen some who leave them. I like both ways, to be honest.

Are those scoops functional? Why do people take them off--aesthetics?

Buell X1 custom seat. It came in six different piping colors with part numbers for each. The parts book states beefed up passenger area and embroidered pegasus logo.

jerry your bike is sweet i love the tubers! but they always seem smaller than the xbs and the 1125s, id feel like a bear on a tricycle lol i love the carbon fiber though any plans for the bike in the future? list of mods?

The X1 seems bigger to me I also have a XB9CityX. The only mods so far Are a pair of adjustable levers from CRG and the clutchlite xx-soft clutch ramp. These really improved the feel of my clutch.

i have a 2000 m2 cyclone, i LOVE it, it has 40,000 miles on it, runs stronger than hell, tubers look badass...

i dont have any currently because the bike is stripped down for paint, as soon its reassembled pics will be up
