Great pics guys.

Here's a couple from last weekend.

Some more pics from Spain.

This time the night shot worked out better...

The moumtains near Madrid still have snow on the tops.

It's a great scenery, driving through the mountain pass. But I had to keep up with the other 15+ Buell's.

So definitely looking into a GoPro HD now!

A lot of people have the same idea of putting a trans parent intake cover on a firebolt but it just destroys the flow of colors. It was a few pics back.

They're just garage pics (no awesome backdrops or scenery) but I thought a couple of people on the board might be interested in seeing a Firebolt with a Lightning tail.

Looks great!! I've actually been keeping an eye out for pictures of bikes set up like that. Extreme's was the only one I'd seen, but it was hard to gauge since his was pretty modified already.

Thanks. My bike ended up that way by accident, sort of. I had a full Lightning conversion planned, but I wasn't willing to give up my Heli clip-ons. I tried to make it all work, but spring was approaching rapidly, and I just decided to throw her back together.

I'm actually really happy with the way it turned out. The more I look at it, the more I like it. I also have a carbon fiber pillion cover, but I'm debating on that one (I like the look, but I want it black, and the idea of painting it makes me feel bad).

I just couldn't get comfortable on the Firebolt seat. I have an SCG seat now...I absolutely love it. With the SCG seat and the Firebolt pegs, it's a little cramped, but I get used to it after about 10 minutes of riding.

The more I stare at the bike, the more I like it. I always thought Firebolts looked kind of stumpy, almost like the swingarm was too short or the tail was a little too long. With a chopped Lightning tail, I think things balance out really nicely, IMO.

Next on the list, getting rid of those big ol' turn signals, and picking up something a little more petite!

If you have a couple minutes to spare some evening to take a picture I'd love to see how it looked with the seat cowl on it, even if the color doesn't match. When I was trying to picture it in my head with just the lightning seat I wasn't sure if the tail would be too stubby for the firebolt front end, but I was thinking the seat cover might help things out.
