A few pics of me and a few fellow Buellers (and an R1 friend) on our ride to the Flight 93 Site in Shanksville, PA.

Bullxb12r you beat me to posting that pic ^ forgot to add that we were in central florida on a hill who would of thought we had hills here

My first Buell, '05 Firebolt XB12R, 15K miles. Just got it 2 weeks ago, since found out it has D & D exhaust, K & N air filter, open air box mod, crankcase vent re-route. I did a baseline oil change with AMSoil, Fram oil filter, and changed spark plugs to NGK Iridium. It came with no chin fairing and no left mirror, so I added a carbon fiber chin fairing from Tekarbon, which fits great, and an aftermarket pair of mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, and eliminated the OEM front turn signals. Added a smoke tail light lens. Planning on homebrew integrated LED tail light, eliminating OEM rear turn signals. Ordered gold shorty clutch and brake levers, and EMC SPY cable with reset, diagnostics and maps.

vtech007, nice bike!! The blue plastics are really rare so treat them well. If you ever want a different color, trade with someone, DONT PAINT OVER [up]

twoguns, damn you have a sexy bike. Very unique! Your "mates" bikes is quite impressive as well.

Thank you very much, onelogue. And thank you very much for the information as well - I had no idea the Thrust Blue color is really rare. I like it and have no intention of changing at this point at least. If I do change, I would probably go with an aftermarket all carbon fiber body kit, and store the stock plastics. Last summer I already did a bike of mine in all carbon fiber ('01 Hayabusa).

Actually I considered the bike a real find. 2 weeks ago today, found it listed on Cycle Trader by a dealer about 115 miles away. Couldn't believe their (relatively low) asking price. I e-mailed them, asking if they would take another bike of mine in trade. I wasn't really expecting it to go anywhere. Was kinda just playin' around. Well, MUCH to my surprize, they offered me more for my trade than I would have expected to sell it independently for, had I listed it myself. I was like - WOW - this really is happening. Now I really couldn't be happier. So glad I happened upon this bike like I did! Really enjoying it!

Thats what we like to hear haha. Remember this is no Hayabusa. We dont think our bikes are the fastest but we sure of proud to have our Buells. Treat her well and save this site for any help. Lots of nerds on here (including me) who will help you out. :)

Ouch!
Hope you are OK, that's the most important!
I kills me when I see Buells destroyed like that, the top triple tree seems to be split in two, I guess the front of the bike is totalled.

man... thats not good. always bad to see an image like that. hope youre not too bad. lets see your recovery/next bike soon.
