just bought a 03 xb9 with less than 1300miles...own a harley and have owned other sport bikes...can anyone tell me some good mods and or parts i should get seems a lil slow but handles like a dream...also enjoy reading this forum...helped me make up my mind to purchase the bike...(along with the $3500 price) thanks

Congrats and wecome to the best Buell forum, imho.

K&N with open airbox, race (or remapped) ecm, and aftermarket muffler is a good place to start. Also breather reroute to a catch can is a must to smooth things out. Good info on here for all of that.

yes all stock...and all i can say is WOW...anyone want to buy a harley....quick enough for me...nice and quite....whats the diff tween a lightning and firebolt

Nothing, different front fairing and tail section, bars, mirrors, and seating position. Everything else is the same [up]. The Lightning has more of the "Street fighter" look, but engine and performance are the same.

Get a new muffler/pipe and that will change.
