Check the adk rally thread also nj buellowners will be riding all year we do 4/5 big rides a year and weekend meetups bike nights excetra!!! Most of the Northern guys I'm in Sussex ride weekly in sussex nj and sullivan/orange county ny as well as bear mtn runs and everything in between

bentlife, I'm in the Oyster Bay area.

I'm considering the ADK rally, but am uncertain about riding the 225 miles away from home. I may borrow a friends truck to get the bike up there.

Yup, that's me. He mentioned another Buell rider in Port Washington when I ran into him...I had a feeling you were him. We're far and few haha.

Fortunately, I have time to think about the ADK ride. I think I'll go either way, its just a matter of riding up or trucking the bike up.

When it gets nicer out, lets meet up on LI somewhere. I have a group of friends that are always down to ride.

Yeah dude I'm with it.. But anyway im trying to put together a bear mountain ride with in the next couple weeks before the weather gets to nice because then that place gets to crowded! I'm thinking maybe a Sunday? Would any one from the long island/NYC area be down and mayb we can meet up with some upstate buellers up there? So when's a good weekend for you guys? Im off every weekend and I'm always trying to ride when ever the weather lets me.

Im from upstate about an hour and a half from the city.. id be down for that bear mtn ride im off every sunday but I end up getting stuck doing something every day off.. If ya figure out a date let me know and Ill make sure I can make it out to it

Fella's the Hudson Valley guys do the Headless Horseman ride in bear mt every year the week before Halloween so keep that one on your calenders I have seen as many as 30 Buells in that one.
njbuellowners.com does the Catskill ramble every year we have had 25 in the event mostly Buells. We run in groups of 5 bikes so we can have a nice spirited pace faster groups out first. We usually set it up right next to hotels and camping we always start in either Sussex county or bloomingsburg by wurtsboro. We run up into and through the Catskills it has been a real fun event these last 3 years this year will be the 4th annual already!!!!!
We have a ride the 29th of April starting in Sussex county and running up through the hawks nest area and ending in Middletown Brians BBQ same deal we will have as many groups as we need the guys are doing a preride this weekend I am hoping to go but I may have to work.

Timeless, were you out on Lido blvd on Saturday? Exchanged waves with a blue and gold firebolt rider Saturday at maybe, noon(?) going in the opposite direction. I was on my Victory Highball though and Riding with a tourer at the time on the way out to Robert Moses...
