Hey Gang ! Newbie Here, BUT not to the Buell Family.

Today I bought a 2009 Buell Ulysses, Midnight Blue, with 1,160 Miles, Too sweet !!



My first Buell I bought in August 2009, It was a 2003 XB9s and I sold it in 2010 ( was the second owner)

I got her at Greensboro Harley Davidson, so they weren't going to let me steal her, $7495.00 before tags and Taxes..

very good deal on a wonderful bike. for what it's worth i striped my Uly wheels, added cheap soft bags and dowco tank bags, heated grips and iridium plugs. one of the most comfortable best performing bikes i've ever owned. and Uly prices have really appreciated in the last 2 years so i say your buy-in price spot-on.[up]

I was just looking at that bike on Cycle-Trader last weekend. How do you like the aftermarket bags that were on it? I'm hoping to get a Uly and outfit it with something similar for a cross country trip.

They look like ****, but I can see them coming handy if take a road trip...I like the Buell Stock one that come on the XT.

I was about to list them on ebay, but the dealer didn't have the key, and I google them and couldn't believe the sale price, $1300.00, Man I'd never would have paid that much for them..

I thought I could read Tour Tech on them. Puts them way out of my price range. I can pick up something just as nice from Twisted Throttle for 1/3 what their stuff costs. I also noticed it's a California bike, (charcoal canister), which makes sense with the Tour Tech hard bags. If I run across a set of stock Uly bags I'll hit you up for a trade.

Thought I saw a round canister just below the frame, above the primary cover on the left side of the bike. That's a California emissions canister. Saw it in the pictures from the dealership. They still have it listed by the way.
