Loosening the idle for a TPS re-set? A couple turns is fine, don't go to far! It will back out of the TB and be a PITA, ASAP.

Backing out for a tps reset and I'm pretty sure I've gone to far as you said cooter because now its definitely being a pita (assuming pita is pain in the ass) I can't get it stay running for the life of me. If it did back out of the TB how f'd am I on a scale of 1to pornstar?
Picked up where I left off last night. It went from trying to get the idle back to where the bike would even run. Didn't quite make it and now it won't even turn over the engine. Battery is good, fuel pump and electronics come on, starter turns fast but no turnover
I'd put a solid guess on flooded plugs. These REALLY don't like multiple cold starts without running long enough to warm up completely.
Got it to run last night hooked up to jumper cables and if I held the throttle open it would run at 4k anything less and it was dying. Im going to guess my tps reset wasn't exactly spot on and it was pushing too much fuel from the previous owner so the combo probably flooded it as you said cooter. If the plugs werent close to being fouled before they definitely are now. I pulled the plugs and to my surprise they were HD plugs so I wonder if they aren't the originals or at least we're last changed at an HD dealer. I'll pick up some plugs and wires tomorrow
