I would go with the caliper mod. and +1 to plasti dip, it is awesome for trying a color with no repercussions if you don't like it.

Idk I thought about it but I haven't been out at night really at all with it.... I wouldn't even know where to begin with a lightning and hids

Eh idk I don't like the looks of that at all.... They would have to fit in stock housing and look stock.....

And Niel I just saw your penguins comment yuck..... Shouldn't you be a caps fan lol

ok well bike is looking good here is what im thinking.

Ditch the tank bra
Paint under tail gloss black
Add stripe to seat cowl and under tail.
May do the same to the inner rear fender or if you like free you can cut it for a different look

That hugger idea is badass but no way in hell am I taking te back tire off again till fall for the new Michelin PP3 tires and orange wheels.....

Idk if I want to paint the under tail.... Might have to think about that one.....

Also new stripes and decals were shipped from matter today so you guys will have to wait to see that.... Probably gonna pull the tank bra when I get the new decals but I kinda like the bra no scratches from my zippers and a nice place to keep my iPod/iPhone.....

I wouldn't paint/powder the WHOLE swing-arm, but I'd try out some car-wrap on the portion below the crease/line that splits it. This would "thin" it out a bit, but still carry the lines from the frame.
Look up car wrap vinyl, and "wrap cut" or similar tape. it allows you to lay down a pinstripe like line, lay wrap over it, then pull a filament through the wrap to get a nice even line without taking a knife to your bike.

Also, maybe consider wrapping the forks, and leaving the triples silver.
