Hey Buellers. Its been a while. I've been busy building a hot rod in the old garage and haven't posted much. Or rode much for that matter. I was out some this weekend and remembered to take a few pics. All the other pics of it are in my garage or in my driveway. What a fun bike. As far as I'm concerned the power is perfect, torque feels great and handles very nicely. Sounds great too. I really need to ride it more. And need to get some mirrors ha ha (in the mail).

Man what a beautiful ride! Looks amazing. What I like best about your bike is that you did ALL THAT yourself. It's not a catalog custom(all bolt on).
BTW you definitely need to ride more! Those chicken strips take away from the hardcore cafe lineage that bike is suppose to represent! Ha ha!

Lol. Yup. It actually embarrasses me just looking at em!

wow! so is all the body work actually polished metal or that expensive "chrome" paint? It all looks super straight, if thats hand straightened metal u sir are the MAN!! granted even if its not you're still the man. AWESOME bike!!

beautiful Cafe, well thought out, well engineered and very easy to stare at. Thanks for postin some pics.

To the people who bought EBR, copy this bike! Seriously, that is a well done build that looks great. I would be extremely happy if something I did came out this nice.

Thanks for the kind words fellers.I got my mirrors today so I'll definitely be putting some miles on it before summer wears down here. Went with Rizoma Spy R's. Honestly the bike is more comfortable than it looks. My buddy said that it looks like a mid evil torture devise. I let him run it for a while and he loved it. Now he want s Buell. They just have so much character. Real fun to ride.

It's actually a no paint build. The frame and a few small parts were powder coated satin black. Everything else is polished aluminum. Nothing at all was painted. I actually stripped off the anodizing coating from a few new aluminum parts and polished them.

So now you have ridden it more you still really rate that air filter set up then? i am over the moon with mine its brilliant! i am so glad i stole your idea! ha ha

Thanks guys!

It runs great with the air filter. Only issue is because the bottom is rubber it gets "flapping" around pretty good. I added a few braces to keep it steady. I can't give a before and after because I really don't have any "before" experience with it. I bought the bike for the project and only rode it around the block to made sure the transmission shifted through the gears and stuff. But it sure runs good now.

I finally settled on your filter but with the black rubber top instead of the hard chrome top and that helps a bit with the "flapping" or makes mine sound less like a drum at least! i would like to thank you once more for the idea and for your help and info on doing mine which i am over the moon with, i wont go back to stock now!! Your skills /bike are awe inspiring!!
