IMO a OEM Buell belt would be the best choice for something that's not even supposed to have a replacement interval:distrust:, I replace them if a bike is over 50K. Why not? It's cheaper than a tow home, and certainly more convenient. Lunatic could probably chime in with exact numbers of whats left in the system to alleviate the fear of an obsolete part.

I agree with pdksh, lots of HD parts monkeys don't like to work for a living. Much like EBR themselves, go ahead and order it and you'll probably get a call in a week or 2, not 8 weeks.

1-G0500.02A8R------------QTY 39

4-ALL 1125 MODELS R AND CR---AMG AND ATB------SHOWS 50 OF EACH BUT PROBABLY MORE NOT LISTED
5-TUBE FRAME AND BLAST .01A7 and .8 QUANTITIES NOT LISTED AND NOT SURE WHY.

First of all, first post!!! Hope you're all doing well.

Second i'm having the same problems with trying to find a drive belt for my '09 1125r which I got yesterday. I can get one from TwinMotorcycles.nl but trying to see if there are local options as well. Is there anyone who's done an aftermarket part or gotten a custom belt cut? I know that they're 145T (or 149T???) but i can't find much as far as specifications.

the correct buell part # for your original belt is G0500.1AMG
it is 145T...14mm tooth pitch....1-1/8th inch size.
system shows 1 or more each at: Hannum's....Surdyke....New Castle....White's. probably more out there but no time to search.

Thank you brother, i'll give them a call tonight (i'm in Australia sooooooo a bit of a time difference). I managed to find one here in Sydney this morning but will be looking for spares especially the buell specific ones that I can't seem to get anywhere else. Harley Davidson dealerships know of Buell but i found one dealership that would actually talk to me about it.

my pleasure sir and glad you found one. if you decide to purchase one here in america and the stocking dealer won't ship to OZ...which many of them won't....have them ship it to me here in Pennsylvania and i'll fire it over to you. weight as shipped is approx. 2 US pounds and USPS first class air is approx. $24.
