A few of us Buellers from North Texas will be meeting at the Starbucks in Sherman at 0815 (8:15am) on Saturday, June 30th. This is an open invitation to anyone who would like to meet and ride. I have a tentative route planned out that should take us a couple of hours to ride, depending on the number of riders and our pace. A couple of us have previous engagements scheduled for the afternoon, so we should be done riding before noon or just before. If anyone needs directions, feel free to contact me through the forum or my email (email will produce the quickest response). Hope to see you there!

Here's the tentative route - according to Google, it's about 1 hour 45 minutes, but could probably be completed in less time. It ends in Bells, where there's a gas station and some shade, and also gives the option for the Dallas guys to continue south and us others to head back to home.

Jack have you taken that route before?

I haven't ridden this exact route, but I've been on all of those roads. The condition is good, but there is a bad spot at the end of FM 697 you have to watch for. They were doing some construction on it a while back - I'll head out there tomorrow or Friday and see if it's cleared up.

Yep Stephs folks live out that way and I know a couple of the roads were having some work done, but it's been several weeks since I was out that way.

WELL SHIT!!!!!! Wish I'd known of this yesterday! My wife put in to work saturday and asked if I was cool with it and said yes since I had no plans. Now I get to watch my kids and miss out on a ride! CRAP!!!!!! You guys have a blast and be safe (hydrated).

I would be all over this ride too IF I was home. Im In new mexico working for the next 3 weeks.[sad]

speakin of texas rides,,,i'm thinkin there needs to be a "deep west texas" ride of some sort. like from midland to el paso & back. its all 85mph 90% of the trip and all highway too mostly. with 18 wheelers doing 85-90 in the slow lane, its got to be a helluva ride for the bikes. :D

maybe even a few miles of the 85mph route or something. an annual ride or something. the spring/fall would be ideal to wind out ur bikes for a few doin 95 the whole way.

just a suggestion to the texas buellers around here, but open to rest of the buellers too [up]

Hey netty lets meet at the Red River and we can piss in the water!! No No I am kidding.

You guys be safe and have a great time. I'll be at Starbucks around 5:30AM when they open

but it'll be the one on Brookside in Tulsa [confused]

...I'm in! That section of 1753 sounds good!! If it can happen, I'm all about that "deep west texas" run.
See u guys at 0800..

Count me in. New to TX, Buell, and the forum so looking forward to meeting everyone.

By the way which Starbucks?
