O2 warning sensor coming on

i all...
i have been having some troubles with the 09CR...
next on the list is the O2 sensor warning coming up ..
it doesn't feel like it worries the bike..
the only mod i have done is to install a K&N air filter..
should i be worried?
what should i do?

Comb through the o2 sensor wiring, there are 2 sensors. I found bad routing and some of my wires insulation burned from exhaust. If you have a meter, find the disconnenct points and ring each o2 sensor and compare values. You can sometimes get away with cleaning o2 sensors if there is debris built up. There are detailed descriptions on the task of using a meter on the o2 sensors if you google "o2 sensor test"

I did Google it.. but it just seams so above me.! i learn by being shown and told (things beaten into me ..lol)

i will be doing another 1000k ride this weekend so i'll be looking at the wiring tonight (**** light in garage though)and see/test and let you know

ok.. i have done a couple of 1000mile rides over the last couple of weekends and the one just been, i was going to do a short 100miles..
WAS .. till the friggin engine shut down and told me that the battery wasn't getting charged... hang on, wasn't that what i got fixed less than 3,00miles ago??? WTF is up with that..
i truly am not happy with my bike any more.. seriously thinking of selling it.. but it needs to be fixed once and for all...

ok.. the stator has died AGAIN....
seams like they die every 20,000kms here in NZ...

oh and Red Rock, the battery was dead...
