Observation on stock headlights

Last night was the first night I actually rode my 'bolt home from work in the dark. I usually take my Ninja back and forth to work and reserve the 'bolt for pleasure riding. I recently replaced the light assembly but hadn't done any night riding. To my surprise, the lighting was pretty good! The low beam was actually a little better than the Ninja (which is brand new) and the high beam was like a flood light - that really surprised me. I can't wait to see what the HID will be like. I've got one on order for low beam. I guess that the lighting wasn't too bad when our bikes were new.
