Hey Guys is been a while,

Chicago been under a polar vortex.... so no riding.
Finally getting some good weather and getting the bike ready for summer.

* Looks like I have a leak from the output line ( longer of the two). Seems like these line have a habit of rubbing and causing a leak.
-I think i found the right part number HS0009.1AD.
-I ordered a lightly used hose for a 2003 xb9. I have a 2006 xb12r..... will i have any problems with the switch?

* also any one who has swapped out these hoses before, anything i should look out for?

*Last question. Has any one made or bought any spacers to prevent future rubbing?

Thanks guys

The lines to the swingarm use different connectors. I also sold a set from an 03 to someone with an 05 for the oil cooler lines and he said the lengths weren't the same. I know for sure the fittings aren't set at the same angles.

Thank for the reply.

I hope that not the case. I have a parts guy, that said HS0009.1AD will fit any XB model from 2002-2007.

Pic- its just the hose.... not any part of the kit.

Did your customer say how he fixed the problem?

To add to this thread.

Has any one made new hoses, using rubber or metal?

I only have a crack in the mesh steel part of the hose.
