since I was young, all I hear is that the roads in the U.S. are extraordinary. So I decided to go see for myself.
I plan to go for a ride on your side of the border for a day and I've heard that Mt. Washington and White Mountain worth visiting.

I'm just wondering if anyone of you guys can give me somes advices.
Like, go there cause it's an amazing road or dont go there cause it's sucks.

one another thing. My ride will be in Vermont and New Hampshire and I have a Jardine exhaust on my bike... is there any regulations against marvelous louds bike sounds in these states?

thanks
Sweb

sweb: both vermont and new hampshire have no noise restrictions but i'd be cognizant of local police in small hamlets who might take a second look at you if you're being noisy. other than that you're fine.
NH is an incredible state to ride in and their great riding begins around Laconia and heads north thru and into the white mountains. north conway nice town south of base to mt. washington auto road. great town, great food, try the colonial motel for accomodations. wonderful family who owns and runs it. also the kanngamangis highway runs from lincoln to conway and is 50 miles of great scenery. and lastly, the mt. washington auto road is a must if it is dry and weather nice. the summit is mind blowing on a clear day and will give you a good workout riding up and down the road. for $10 you can go up and down all day long. route 100 which runs north and south thru the center of VT is very nice. it goes from the canadian border to wilmington, VT and ends on rt. 9. but i'm partial to NH for all-around riding. hope that helps.

I lived in Nova Scotia for a while and we'd regularly do day & weekend trips to New England. It's an awesome place to ride with more paved back-roads per square area than any place else I have ever been!
I got a sense that you could live there your whole life and never ride the same route twice!

good thanks alot, with this, I should be able to schedule me a good road trip.

I'll poast some pictures :)
