yes, but its an 08. they wont look that shiny and new forever.

When that picture was taken, the bike had approximately 3.000 km (1.900 miles) on the odo. Headers can be colored blue on a new bike after 10 miles. ;)

Btw, ask Lefox about the color of my headers. He has seen it irl after 5.000 km (3.000 miles). :)

I herd somewhere a long time ago that the discolouring of the headers can come from "racing the motor" (reving with no load)

can anyone verify?

My headers aren't colored.
Remus exhaust (without the dB-killers) on a 2008 XB and a stock ECM.
If im not mistaken Jakkel u also ride in Euro? You guys get waaayyyyyy better gas, and pay for it I know. But it does make all this difference. Best I can get where im at is 92oct =( at $4 a gallon =(

My bike's recommended octane is 91.
'Course we have 89 and 92 here...
So I run 92.

My headers never blued either...
But a lot of XB9Xers I know have had the issue.
And a few XB12's as well...

Mother's helped them all...

My comments about running the bike lean were in response to the exhaust comments...
