Only Buell on the road

We spent the Labor Day weekend up in the NC mountains on the old XB9R. We road a lot of roads and saw a lot of bikes. Out of all the bikes I saw and got to ride with, I only saw one Buell and it was mine.

I could not believe it was the only one I saw in four days of being up there. Are they really not seen on the roads that much anymore?

I live in MN where the bike scene is ridiculous during the summer. I have yet to see another Buell all summer. Sad to say, I think we the last few of a dying breed my friend.

I'm in MN. Saw a black/red R going down 35w in Lino Lakes last Friday. Also a black/gold R is always at the local Oreillys

I was getting on the freeway not too long ago and all of a sudden a bike races up behind me and starts revving his engine like crazy. Look over to see a bright red xbs. I got all excited to see another Buell. Don't see many of them around. As long as you can put up with the heat, you can ride all year here in Vegas. You'd think with odds like that, I would see more than I do.

Saw a 12r on the highway a while ago while I was in my car. I looked his bike over while we were at the same speed. He looked at me looking at him and I tossed a thumbs up out the window. He might have been just as excited that I knew what it was!

I wanted to but I was following a friend who just moved into a new place and had no clue where I was going.

ive seen 3 around where i live. seen a guy texting on his blue 1125r, seen and gold and black r and i always see a red tuber, not sure of model, at the court house.

There were 4 of us at the dragon this past weekend. Saw an additional red/black lightening an an 1125cr.

I've only seen like 2 in the Cincinnati area...

But that's one of the cool things about Buells is their uniqueness. Not being on a dime-a-dozen bike is part of why I love mine [cool]

I'm in the SF Bay Area south of oakland and there's 3 or 4 in my neighborhood. I regularly see a couple of Lightnings and an M1 (I think).
Now that mines back on the road I hope I get to ride with them instead of just see them pass by.
