open air box kit

I have just bought an 08 uly and I am looking to let it breath. I ordered a drummer muffler and a k&n filter but do I need to get the open air box kit on the 08? I saw the american sport bike has one but does the 08 already have the setup? Thanks for the help.

Could always DIY like this: Airbox Delete
