So I have to ask. Has anybody caught anything in their helmet when riding?

I ask because I caught a wasp today and the sucker bit me a few times before I could finally stop and get my helmet off. I probably wasted more time trying to get my helmet strap lose while still wearing gloves.

So has anyone else taken any hits?

Ahhhhh! that sucks. Yes I have stuff fly in my helmet all the time. I have had a few bee's fly in and sting me once. Down here in Florida we have lots of bugs.

lol I have never gotten a bee in the helmet but lately knats are horrible here.. they fly in your helmet and buzz in your ear!! That happened to me a bunch this summer..

I kept catching rocks and road crap in my old helmet, but I got a new one and no more rocks and junk. No bugs though.

I've caught a bee, been hit in the lip with a carpenter bee(but luckily it didn't sting or bite) and been hit in the cheek buy a small falling pine cone. I don't leave my visor open as much now.

i was stung by a yellow jacket 2 weeks ago behind my left ear while on the track. i had to finish my session then asked one pf the guys to fish out the stinger. pretty painful.

Been there done that.
How 'bout the freakin' 8" grasshoppers that we've got here in this part of Texas.
Leave yer visor open or feakin' close it.
It don't matter.
'Cause when one of them boogers hits you,
they'll likely knock you clean off your bike!

I'm like only HALF kiddin'...
