We'll see, might not be time...

I'd like to ride my bike locally at least once before heading that far away, in case there's any issues with the bike. I don't think I'm going to have time though :(.
 
Ozello is only 25 min away from sleepy hollow per Google so I know that's probably an estimite as if you were leading :D let me lead and we could probably be there in 15 maybe less. I gotta go if I'm that close.


I don't know when I'll be able to ride either. My youngest son is starting tee ball I'm coaching that my older boys league ball and travel ball. I think this spring might be a little overwhelming. We usually practice travel ball Sunday afternoon but I have to make an exception for this.

We need more buellers!!! Come on Central Florida lets ride. This should be a good meet up plus riding arguably the BEST ROADS IN FLA!!!
 
Well if you get there in 15 then you can rest for 10 until I get there lol. If it is my first ride since putting the bike back together I will be riding fairly easy seeing as how I just rebuilt like half my bike. Don't want to be pushing it when a bolt backs out or something weird. First couple rides will be easy and I'll be checking everything over every time I stop. I am very excited to get riding again though, I wish this didn't take me so long but I always get busy as soon as I tear it apart, so it seems...
 
You better get to riding then. Hell I know you can find 10 minutes here and there to ride.Hell the weathers nice ride to work! Get those kinks out before the 17th, that's a long ride (and nice roads too:D)
 
Yeah all I need to do right now is figure out what's wrong with the horn, then assemble the front fairing. I think that's it. Won't be able to work on it or ride this weekend. Hoping to finish it during the week one evening just to fire it up.
 
So where are all the Buell's at in Orlando? I've had mine about a year now and live downtown. I've only seen a handful of Buell's out, I work by the airport and someone had a white bolt in the same industrial complex I work out of, and I've ran into one or two at bike nights, and that is it. I ride daily and it's a pretty boring ride to work, but every now and then I get out towards Clermont or apopka and enjoy those empty twisty roads (I ride pretty mild, most of my friends ride cruisers, but they are still fun)..I'd love to get with some fellow buellers in the area.
 
There's a Central Florida Buell meet on the 17th @ Sleepy Hollow in Floral City. Snrusnak and I are meeting at Sugarloaf Mt. (561 & 27 Clermont) to ride over. The first stop will be 50 & 75 at a Hess station, said to be a big bike gathering there every Sunday. From there we'll ride over to Sleepy Hollow. After Sleepy Hollow we'll be heading over to Ozello Trail. This will be pretty much an all day event but it will be covering THE BEST ROADS in FL. Gobbler (which Sleepy Hollow is on) and Ozello are hands down the best roads FL has to offer with plenty of good roads in between.

I'm out of Sanford but snrusnak is in east Orlando so if your interested I'm sure he'd meet up with you on the way to Sugarloaf (which is another great road/area 561 & Old Hwy 50). I'm sure he'll chime in.
 
Hey I live on goldenrod right by the airport. I could meet up with you on the way to sugarloaf mountain, where I'm meeting FlaX.
 
Well... I blew the bearing that sits right outside my pressure plate. I need to get ahold of the special clutch spring removal tools so I can inspect my clutch and sprockets for damage. Trying to get in touch with my friends at MMI so I can ride after this long long wait.

Saw you said you were in Altamonte if you want to ride let me know and we can meet up on my way out to Sugarloaf Mt. possibly Apopka @ Rock Springs Rd & Kelly Park Rd. or Mt. Dora @ OBT and Sadler Ave.

Wish I could help you with that. Good luck getting it back together and let us know when your ready to ride.
 
Marty pointed out that it appeared my rear shock was leaking right before I took off Sunday. Checked it out when I got home and that's what it was. Got a used one coming from a member said it should be here tomorrow so we'll see.
I'm thinking about taking my bike out of commision till the dragon or track day which ever comes first. I want to do my wheel bearings, brakes, and a few other maintenance things to get her all sound.
If my shock comes in tomorrow I'd like to ride this weekend to make sure all is good with her. If it doesn't come in till next week I'll probably ride next weekend. After that ride which ever weekend that may be is when I'll probably start tearing her down so..........
 
Ok bearing in and everything back together. Still have no exhaust due to my old jardine disintegrating, but I'm riding again. If anyone has a nice exhaust that is sitting around LMK. I'll be riding and testing out my handy work in the south Orlando/ Hunter's Creek area this weekend.
 
^I live close to there. Doubt I'm riding this weekend, but next weekend might be a go.

A guy we rode with last sunday had a jardine off his bike, not sure if he was looking to sell. I'll ask him.
 
Ok Holly Hill Daytona beach here! I pick up my first buell(and first bike too) in two weeks. I would like to do some rides. Let me know. Btw I'm. Attending wyotech too!
