when we did the miata thing...we would meet at the 7-11 on the north west side of I4 and 46 in sanford, that way we could gas up and get and drinks or w/e. then take 46 west toward the diner. It was a great starting point because of the ample parking/space available and topping off before the journey. It wasnt as big of a deal in the miata cause of the larger tanks, but some folks were coming in from melbourne and such. I am still new to buells...but I am pretty sure our range is 150m give or take?

I'm down for next Sunday. I work Saturday and have to be home by 7pm Sunday but I figure an earlier ride would be better than a late ride in Florida heat.
 
Sunday would work for me, early too is a plus. Son has practice Sunday at 3 or possibly 4. Lets see who's in and go from there on final meeting/ride plans.
 
Hey guys. New buell owner. I live in the same area of somecallmery. I get of work Sunday morning at 6. As long as I get my oil changed this week I'm down to ride.
 
sounds like sunday works for alot of people. ok..sunday it is then. So now we need to figure out a good starting point, and a time to meet up. its a little over an hour drive to the diner if thats where you guys would like to go. The dam is very close to it and a decent spot for some pics.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to go yet. I should know by tonight. We had some plumbing issues at our house saturday that I spent all day fixing then my mom called saturday night with no hot water so I helped my dad replace the water heater at their house sunday. Got behind on a lot of stuff this weekend. I'll post back tonight, hopefully I can go. It'd have to be sunday morning for me as well.
 
I'm good for a ride sunday morning. Ryan, do you want to meet up since we are close to each other? I could meet at your house if that's easiest since it's pretty much on my way. Curtis, where do you want to meet? There's two others planning to go also it sounds like, right(johnny black and jl135w7)?

That ride looks fun and the burgers sound good too :)
 
Jl135w7 lives in saint cloud so he'd be coming up Narcoossee. We could meet at my shop, your house or mine whatever is easiest. Then I don't know if we would want to meet FlaXB at sugar loaf or go up i4 to 46. I haven't looked at the map so I don't really have a clue where we are going.
 
Meeting at your shop is probably easiest. It's only about a mile from my house anyway. Then we could ride to sugarloaf to meet curtis. Where we are going is north of sugarloaf. Ugh, I hate riding the bike on the turnpike lol.
 
Ehh... at least it wont be 33 degrees out this time...

BTW I saw a black Bolt at WaWa this morning, take the bike to work today Sean?
 
I'm not surprised you were running late on a monday. So what time do we want to do this ride? Every one agrees on early, but how early?
 
Ok so what I've just read is that we're meeting at sugarloaf at "tbd" then heading to the dam diner. So JB and me can meet at the 7-11 at "tbd" and head over to meet y'all at sugarloaf correct?


Maybe gloomshadow will join us?
 
Sounds good. Wife wants me home as early as reasonably possible, so I'd like to shoot for heading home from that area by like 2 at the latest. It will take at least an hour to get home, maybe 2.

Ryan, want to meet at your shop at like 730? (is that too early?). That puts us at sugarloaf around 830.
 
That would put us at the dam diner around 9:30/10 if we're doing lunch that's quite a bit early. How about adding 1 to 1.5 hours to that start time?
 
That's fine. Tell me what time you want to meet at sugarloaf and I'll figure out when we need to meet before hand. I'd rather eat a little early than late since I'm trying to get home in the afternoon
 
I have to be back by 3:30 at the latest for my son's baseball practice and I think 10:00 would be fine to meet at sugarloaf. 9:30 wouldn't be bad either it'd give us a little more riding time.

Just let me know.
