Sorry this is last minute but a riding group I belong to (Cafe-Moto) is riding up to St. Augustine tomorrow morning (17-May-2014) for the "Riding Into History" event. http://ridingintohistory.org/

We are meeting in Sanford at Mel's Diner around 8am with KSU at 8:30am. I'll have the Buell. I plan to arrive around 8:15am. The group is notorious for leaving late but you never know...

If anyone can make it, just look for me. If you arrive before me, just say Lance invited you.

My plan is to ride up and see what time we actually arrive. And then from there decide I'll how long I plan to stay. I would like to be back in Sanford between 3-4pm.

Lance sounds interesting. Let us know how the ride was. Back roads or Highway? Never rode up that way. Been up the in car before but not bike, I'm curious how the roads are. I know it's nice up there but never thought about riding up.

Yes jb that's mine. Just don't ride her enough. My main interest is the track right now too so figure I'll buy a bike more suitable for the track. Plus I'm just to cramped on the xb 6'1" 225lb doesn't mix with the xb very well. Everyone suggest drop pegs (which I have, not installed) but I scrap the stock firebolt pegs now. An inch closer to the ground terrifies me.

Curtis.... no highways getting there. 17/92 north to 92 (Speedway) to Marsh Road to 11 to 40 across to Beach. Did a portion of the Loop and then up A1A. Not a bad ride. Typical for a the area, more straights than curves. Took a LONG time to get to the event though as we had several stops (piss break, smoke break, lunch, etc.) I would skip riding through St. Augustine like we did, so slow, so many cars.

I took 95 home to Old Dixie and did the Loop again but heading south on A1A to 40 then back onto 95 and exited Speedway and took Tomoka Farms/415 until Enterprise Osteen around the lake back to Sanford.

Just over 250 miles round trip. [up]

Just found out recently I'm moving to Gulfport MS at the end of June so sorry to say I won't be riding with ya'll anymore... [sad]

I still intend on going to the dragon meets every year...

Awe Sean is all buddy buddy in our face but behind our backs

My old friend's in Orlando, FL were pretty douchey so I'm hoping to do better this time around...

So with that said, burn the fucking road up homie!!!

Many hurricanes in your future hopefully........
