Over heating solution?

I went for a ride with a few mates yesterday and it was HOT ! . A public holiday and everyone was on the coast road which made total gridlock for 6 kms. We couldnt turn around (cops) and had to sit and sweat. My fan came on for only the second time since ownership and i have ridden in 38+c before. It took ages once underway for the fan to cease but i guess thats exactally why its there.

That Right Side Scoop is a Engine Saver and Helps the Fan Last Longer. Not to mention your Body parts as well. Most 2005 Harleys to present have that option. Some might have slipped through the Line here and there.The Rear Cylinder is always hardest hit on Buells and H/D bikes. At least the Buells are up to date with a fan.*Jimi
