Hours of prep. Exacto blade, Custom free hand cut decals, Jigsaw, 2 part-epoxy, Bondo finishing putty, 10 different types of grit sand paper. Pheeewww! I am tired! Satin gloss tomarrow! Yipppeeee!

P.S. Stay tuned for Blacklight led headlights. Not just simple stick on. Davexb insired me. My flames will glow white! *******! J/K! I love you guys!

Looking forward to a finished view of the whole bike to hopefully pull it all together[up]

Looks a **** load better than monday;)

I need to do my frame black and I think leave matter graphic silver with silver rims??? Or should I paint rims white and leave matter graphic white? Any opinions?

White!, don't leave it silver it will just add one more color and look random since all the rest of the bike will be painted.

But the engine is silver. Can I powder coat the engine white??? I spose I could. Who want's to help me dissasemble my engine?

No just leave the engine alone, it is covered and darkened since it is under the frame. I am going complete custom on mine but leaving the engine stock, just really clean.

Like this is stock engine color but custom but it is basically covered so you don't really notice it.

Im digging the swing arm delete! And the rims! You have to admit tho. A white engine with a blacklight on it! That would look sick! ;)

Maybe I over thinking all this. LOL!

I'll say it again. Rather than starting new threads, please keep your projects in ONE thread. This makes it easier to follow down the road. It's already hard enough to search this site. We don't need a new thread every time you make an update to your project. I hope this is the last time I'll have to ask. Thanks!

So you're using your decals as masks? Just painting, then peeling off the decals?

Some of them are store bought. SOme are custom cut by me and free handed. The taping process is very tedious. Its all in the prep work. Even after you have to clean the edges with a q-tip and goo-gone. You want all the lines to be smooth. I do not suggest trying this at home. I swore probably 1000 times. Variety is the spice of life! Hope you guys enjoy. Stay tuned for daily progress.

how are you preping it before painting then? How will the paint stick near the decals?

Ill paint your bike Dave. I can do whatever you want. I dont air brush myself but My guy is phenomenal.
