I think you are tearing up the natural curves haha, another month and every piece on your bike will have a vent, scoop, slit, clit or dingle berry :)

Not as funny as Xibit! Dude...Stop giving me a hard time guys. I had and extra vent laying around. It looks unique. I like it! Wait till you see the install then make fun of me. I think it will look sick with all the blackilights at night.

For some reason stewie from family guy just popped into my head and he's at a disco with black lights doing the "um sst um sst um sst um sst" beat box sound.

I like that chin fairing center piece. I need to repaint mine and clear coat it this time. I'm going to get some white paint mixed to match my plastics. I might do something similar.

Weird! I have had Familiy guy on all night while I was working on this silly mod.

No Disco music tho

Its looking like next winter :(. I dont have time to take the frame apart. I still have exausht, breather mod, belt protector delete, e.t.c to do. I want to ride this season to so it will have to wait. Silver gray's not too bad. All black will be sick tho. I am going to try to clear coat right over the matter decal. Has anybody ever tried this???

I have a buddy who paints and he always says "Never paint over a decal" his reason is if you ever want to remove it for what ever reason you have to completely redo the whole paint job instead of just peeling back a sticker.

I you want to keep the what of the decal I would paint the frame black, peel off the decal paint that spot white and then clear it all.

ANother thing I was throwing around was to have a polished pegasus logo with black frame. Now that I have the design I could recut new ones on contact paper for my stencil. Either way it would be tons of work. I am sure will be busy next year ;)

Is there a way to paint over the polish so you dont have to maintain it?

I know you can clear powder coat over the polished aluminum but not sure if paint will adhere since the polished aluminum wont allow for the bit paint usually requires.

Yeah....Im not to sure. I will deffinetly experiment. I think I would have to polish area were pegsus would be. Contact paper over it. Then lightly sand the outside around the matter graphic and fade it with the rest of the paint. Would be very tedious and time cunsuming but I think I would be the only one with a polished matter graphic.

not crazy on the paint but i think the vent in the scoop is kinda cool. i wish the install pic wasnt so dark

I like the scoop and the chin fairing. I think when you finish your build it will look... I wanna see the bike completed first before I say something. Good luck!

^^^ thanks guys. The bike is coming along. I plan on doing a photo shoot this spring. My dad is a photographer. Hopefully It will be a nice piece of eye candy when its all done.
