Paint peeling?

I have noticed a couple spots, mainly on front piece (where lights are) dont know the name of the piece im a newb... Is my only option to repaint it or could i possibly sand it out or something? I was thinking about plastidipping all my plastics matte white. My bike is white already so could be a good option..

The front piece around the lights is the front fairing, but is not painted from the factory. The color is molded into the plastic. So if it is painted it was done by the previous owner. Pretty much yes, it needs repainted. You could sand it and patch it but it'll look like a patch. And if it's peeling then the previous owner probably didn't prep well so you ought to redo it or it'll keep peeling as time goes on.
