Hey guys ive seen a couple buells with the outside of the teeth painted On the rear pulleys?
Is there a diy on this?

Some may look painted but i have tried and without removing the wheel from the bike it is a pain.. i ended up juswt using a grinder and a sanding wheel to polish it..

It,is easier to do with it removed, there is a oem wrinkle coat on the pully that is thick, and will take a little effort to remove.but it is not hard to do.

its very easy to do! all you have to do is remove the rear axle bolt, and the rear tire comes right off. be careful with the rear brake, you dont have to take apart the brake just wiggle the caliper out. there are 2 bolts that hold the belt pulley in place, take that off to remove tension on the belt. then when the rear wheel is off just use your dremmel with a sanding belt attachment and grind away the oem paint to give it that painted look. took me about an hour to do but i was also multi tasking.

So I just grind away the top coat.
Then pait it blue or what?

Yea just sand it down. i didnt paint mine, but you will need to find the right paint to make sure it sticks. that I do not know tho. maybe paint it with a primer, then a blue to match your bike.
