Ok ive heard of people swapping the swing arm on their blast for an xb but what about the xb front end

Anything is possible, buy why?

If its a vanity thing, you might want to start saving your dollars and cents and buy and XB. If its a handling thing, don't bother, it won't improve it. If you have way too much time on your hands on love a good frankenstein project just to see what could be, have fun.

I was thinking about for a future project using a redneck eng. Itsablast frame put on an xb front end and swing arm for the 17s and sizing options

Go for it - take lots of pictures and document everything you do so we all can live vicariously through you.

Sounds like fun.

Wait i just thought of something since they build the frame could redneck eng. Also build a swing arm and also couldnt i have them set the front up to where it could have a springer front?

To bad this isnt going to be a project for some time to come new rider here git my blast with 4200 miles for 1500$ but it hasnt been stored well and needs work

When you do start it, do post up. I am very interested in watching it unfold!

In the meantime, if you need help in fixing things, let us know.

It can be done. There is a post on here somewhere where a member has already done the swap along with a semi custom tail end. Bike looks like a blast version of a XB SST. I say do what you want if you think your capable and ignore the nay sayers. I look fowards to seeing your future build log.

I think all Blasts are P3, like the Cyclone is also known as the M2 and the Thunderbolt is the S3 etc. It might be that the names differ by country, non English speaking countries going by the alpha numeric designation. I'm just guessing.

OK just wanted to make sure i have the right service manual for mine i have got some work to do to it to make sure its safe and reliable

As far as I know .....a Blast is a Blast is a Blast.....no matter where in the world its located/sold. I have been wrong before though...:D

A 2000 Blast service manual is virtually identical to a 2009 Blast service manual.

A 2010 service manual is vastly different, however.
