Look what I got with my registration renewal .... I live in Québec, Canada, the same place who forbids us to ride our bikes mid-december through mid march because of winter(even if it's hot as hell) ....

It's a pilot project to measure Db levels on motorcycles ..... I think they won't like my Buell race pipe .... :(

That's outstanding..... They really make you quit riding during certain months. You should move:D

It`s like they`ve gone to war with motorcycles ... Just my registration cost me 600$. If I had a SuperSport like a GSX-R(like I had before), it would cost me 1100$ for my registration, for only 9 months since I can`t ride during winter !!!

Sounds like you live in Sweden...
We have quite a bit of regulations over here to!
When it comes to motorcycles produced in the last 15 years you're not allowed to switch out parts the way you want to. Every little part has to be stamped with a little text that it's approved for the European market! Even if that new exhaust is approved we still have the government (police) giving you tickets if it sounds to much! If you don't change it the bike gets illegal to use on public roads...

Didn't they make winter tires for cars mandatory as well? Think you should start heading west....

...Dont stop in Ontario though, not much better here with the stunting laws and automatic roadside vehicle impounding and license suspension for 7 days if a cop sees you doing anything even remotely entertaining.

Damn this is interesting! Ridiculous, but interesting.

I was sitting at lunch today and some guy pulled up on his harley to meet a potential buyer I'm guessing. Well he freaking grabbed the throttle almost wide open for several seconds about 5 times, obviously selling his bike based on the exhaust that he had installed. Well that **** doesn't usually bother me, but it was the single loudest motor/exhaust I have ever heard. It was flat effing annoying!

Having said that, I'd hate for Texas to get into something like this.
