Anyone see the new pilot road 3's? I wonder how they compare to the newer power pures. It has the same hardness of rubber and percentage of each compound according to the number. Not sure how accurate that is.

I would post a link but i keep getting an error about my word being too long.
 
Here is a link. They look interesting, if they really are an improvement over the PR2's then I won't hesitate to get these when my PR2's finally wear out (7k on them so far and hardly look worn!). Hope the get a detailed review from webbikeworld.com soon!

The power pures have to be softer overall, those "soft/medium/hard" scales are just relative to that particular tire, it's not indicating rubber density across their entire line. And the rubber layout on the rear is the same for the PR3's as it is for the PR2's, the front just gets an extra 5% on each side, really not a big difference. The most significant difference are all the extra sipes...supposed to extend life and improve wet traction.
