Plastic Polish

I use Turtle Wax Ice to keep her looking good. I have the Novus...but I find it's a good bit of work to get it back to a nice shine.

For serious abrasions start with a fine nonwoven ball polisher spun on a drill revving to no more than1200 rpm. Go back at a different angle & lighter pressure before switching to a buffing wheel spun with the same drill & using tripoli abrasive. This will take it to a good shine. After this give it a good wash, dry, & a buff with Armorall Ultra Shine. This latter product is good after regular washings as well.

This is one site that has a good deal on novus polish. Don't think that I ever saw it in any store shipping is free anywhere else it's 8 and up. Havn't used the stuff put I heir good things about it. Getting it very soon my self.

I've always used Plexus. It shines the bike up real nice, and leaves a thin wax layer that helps keep the bugs off. It won't do anything for scratches, and can be a little expensive.
