possibly geting a buell got a quick question

im looking at a slightly damaged 09 xb12ss and an wondering if the long would fit me or if i should stick with a standard 12s. im 6' and 160 lbs any info would be great thanks

I love my Ss.

I'm 6'1" and it fits me really good. well as best it can, I'm a big guy.

My brother has the XB12R and it is smaller and a lot more unconfortable. The S does look a bit sleeker but I like the width and rider position of the Ss.

it sounds like the bike is built for me im going to go look at it in 2 weeks and ill be bidding on it at auction on the 31st. And u should post some pics of the 20th ae, i just got the digi cam back from my gf so ill take some recent pics and get them up as soon as possible

thats a pretty hawt mk4. the bike has bent forks left side of the frame is scratched (no frame pucks...)left peg and shifter broken. its on a auction website my dad has a dealers liscense. ill try to post up some pics if i can figure this site out.

thats not too bad. id get some black forks if it were me since i had to replace them anyway. less than $700 and its all fixed up.

Looks like new forks, shifting linkage, add some frame pucks, get rid of the damaged handgaurds, and you'll be set. All in all, doesn't look too bad. [up]

What about the other side. I noticed the mirror on the unseen side is broken, near side is just bent. Is it damaged on both sides?

hey mk2 20v, That bike is in pretty good condition. My bike was bought for 2,100 at a dealer auction ( '04 xb12r 5,500 miles). So you should be able to get this for dirt cheap.
I wouldn't go over 5,000 if i was you. But for less than a grand you can have it lookin' new again.

Im hoping to get this for 2500 tops but ill probably go 3000.my dad and i have been fixing up harleys for the last few months so ive got to get atleast one of the 4 in his shop done before i have the room... looking at parts its probably going to be around $300-$700 but i think ill paing the frame silver and get an extra set of plastics i really like the yellow and the hero blue.
