Nothing done except wheel bearings and 2 belts, EBR ecm, stock exhaust, KN filter, breather reroute

lunatic...
DON"T go away, but.....does it really make enough power to HURT anything?!! JUST JERKIN' YOUR CHAIN!!! :D

That was an old saying around the shop when someone would be bragging about a 'competitor's' built engine!! That always got a rise out of them!! Seriously though...that IS quite respectable!

04 xb12. 26k

Race ecm/ pipe. K&n filter. Breather reroute. All the usual stuff.

Oil changes and a drive belt @19k

Had 32K on my old '03 XB9R before I sold it, just replaced the stator at 28K, and the belt at 30K other than that just regular maintenance.

Currently have nearly 26K on my '08 1125R. The only things done to it thus far are service at the regular intervals, and fixing the clutch weep.

The Buell Mechanic (Scotty) at Santa Fe HD (Santa Fe, NM) has over 100K miles on his '08 1125R and it is still running. Dont know what all has been done, but makes me feel more comfortable letting him work on my 1125R than some other Buell tech who is made to work on Buells just because someone has to.

Good info. I have been around Harleys most my life and have seen lots old Bar hoppers with 50,000 or more but still being relatively new to Buells, I'm glad to hear these higher numbers. Being a sportier type of bike than a bagger, these can tend to be rode harder, so numbers like 45,000 is pretty impressive to me.
