Potential Lightning Owner - What to look for or ask seller?

I found what I think is a pretty good deal on an 03 XB9S Lightning. I'm going to look at it this week, and unless it's a total POS, I plan on riding it home.

It's got around 10,000 miles, and looks good in the pics. Other than mirrors, turn signals, and shorty levers, it's all stock. He said it runs perfectly, just has a few minor scratches, and has good tires and brakes. I can pick it up for $2600.

What do y'all think? Does this sound like a decent deal?

Is there anything specifically that I should look for or ask him when I go look at it?

Nice ,that a low XB9, with lowered pegs, ask how many owners , maintenance records , history, look for oil leaks around rear rocker box, look at the oil in swing arm. $2600. good price if there are no motor issues, IMP

Wow Lynk, you're not far from me. If I hadn't of been looking for a 12, I'd have grabbed this one. He wants to sell it bad, because he started at $3900. I'd snatch and grab for $2600.
